I’m headed to Germany for the first time since I was a toddler!
My solo show GURLS opens April 14th at FB69 Galerie in Münster. We will have limited copies of my sold out zine on hand as well as a show of all my drawings.
I hope to see you there, and I’m really excited to spend some time in this city.
GURLS was conceived in sketchbooks while Arabella was recovering in bed from multiple surgeries, and oil painting was no longer an option. Sarcastic, silly, and in a loose style that deviates from the painting she has been known for, her GURLS comment on the current state of technology, relationships, and “first world problems”.
Very unexpectedly, I sold out of my first run of US printing for my zine GURLS, which was made initially for my solo show of the same name opening at FB69 Galerie in Germany next month on April 14th. (Yes I will be in attendance if you are near Munster!)
I didn’t get a chance to make a formal announcement, it was just posted throughout my social media outlets, but the US edition sold out within 9 hours!
There will be a second run up for sale in my shop starting Friday, March 17th at 10:30am ET.
GURLS is 70+ glossy pages of my drawings and snappy sarcastic comments to accompany them. Truth be told, I write them in the voice of Bobby Brown if he were yelling real loud, so I hope that enhances your experience. I know a lot of you have told me you want a copy and missed out last weekend, so set your alarms because I can’t “save a copy” for you even if you know me in the meat world.

The show at Hedge Gallery opened and has been amazing with all of the feedback I have gotten! Thank you all so much and thank you to the Hedge Gallery staff and Ohio Arts Council for making it happen. More pictures from the show opening to follow.
There’s also been some press from The Plain Dealer, Fresh Water, and Scene Magazine. The show is on view through December 23rd and I will be having a bit of a shindig on Sunday, December 11th during Cleveland Bazaar from 2pm to 6pm if you missed the opening.
In the meantime here is a little video of me working a little bit on the show…in a viking helmet.
She’s 8×8 inches, and available here. Just in time for fall, don’t you think?
“Heartbreaker” 12×12 inches, oil on canvas.
I’m pretty much booked on commissions through the summer, however, I have been wanting to get back to this series for ages. Good thing is I can sometimes work on it in-between layers drying on my commissioned work!

I finally got around to making my shop FANCY for those who want a quick way to purchase original artwork of mine.
There are framed, unframed, and some sarcastic drawings in the bunch. More will be added eventually. I still do 6 month payment plans, just email for details (I require a $100 deposit on everything).
I finally got fed up with Etsy and moved over to Big Cartel. I’m not sure yet if one is better than the other, exactly, but we’ll see how it goes.
“Pink Waves” 8×10 inches, oil on panel.
Decided to start getting a little weird in-between other projects.
You can purchase various sizes of prints of this girl, but the iPad skin looks pretty rad, too! Visit Nuvango.com
